Hi, My name is Shawn Rodriguez, I’m originally from Virginia Beach, VA. My beautiful family and I moved to Bradenton two years ago after visiting AMI one summer and falling in love. We went back to Virginia, sold our house, moved here to paradise, and have not looked back. Before moving to Florida, I was a daytime chef for 22 years at a local restaurant in Virginia Beach and a Jiu-jitsu instructor during the night. I love martial arts, kayak fishing, and exploring the mangroves Florida has to offer. It truly is a blessing to be able to work with the Salty Mermaid team!
