Masen grew up on Anna Maria Island attending preschool at School for constructive play (now North Shore Café), attended Anna Maria Elementary and graduated from Manatee High School. He is a true Anna Maria Island local. He graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing in order to bring some knowledge back to the family business. Masen has been with the company since the very beginning working in every aspect of Salty Mermaid. His main priorities now are accounting and managing the luxury linen portion of the business. When he is not in the office, Masen enjoys traveling with his cocker spaniel named Lilly, wakeboarding, and exploring new breweries.
